Bright Spark Precision Engineering has been supplying key players in the Aerospace and Motorsport markets for over 20 years.

Based in East Lancashire, the company operates a production environment manufacturing precision components. Bright Spark originally began life producing jigs and fixtures for the Aerospace Industry.

Bright Spark Precision Engineering later moved into the Motorsport market, producing components for a motorbike rider who went on to become British Champion and later World Super-Bike rider. Since that time, Bright Spark Precision Engineering has prospered almost entirely on word-of-mouth recommendation from customers who recognise quality workmanship.

Thanks to our excellent quality of services and continuous investment in the latest Mazak CNC Machines, Bright Spark has been able to expand into challenging new markets such as Defence, and Medical & Electronics, and the Company now supports customers from all over the UK and Ireland.

Bright Spark has significantly grown its presence in the Aerospace market by securing significant contracts for the manufacture of Aircraft Seating components, for both commercial and military aircraft.

Bright Spark Precision Engineering was acquired by Merc Engineering UK Ltd in 2008 and the company is now an integral part of the Merc Group. Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques have been introduced at Bright Spark and the company is now looking forward to a very exciting future.
